I can't get the coconut cream to become milky. It always makes my smoothie have an oil, slippery feel to it that I can't stomach. How do you make it creamy? I've just about given up on my coconut cream as I bought it to make coconut milk and it is just oil.

Heather: Coconut Cream Concentrate isn't a milk, it's more like a peanut butter except that it's coconut. It can however, be used as a decent coconut milk substitute by adding a few teaspoons or so to water. To learn how to melt it down and mix the oil back into the product, please watch the video here: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/coconut_cream_concentrate.htm (scroll down).

The same technique for adding coconut oil to cold drinks can be applied to CCC in it's liquidy state.
