What in the world is kefir and where do you get it?

Kefir is a fermented, dairy, yogurt like drink. If you google it, you can find out more about it. Hope this helps!

This would be good with Coconut Milk instead of yogurt or kefir for us non-dairy people. :) Yum!

Hi Sharon,
Kefir is available at natural food stores like Whole Foods. You can find it in the refrigerated section with yogurt drinks, etc. Nowadays, you can also find it in general grocery stores, such as Publix (depending on where you live). Kefir is extremely healthy and even people who are lactose intolerant have shown to overcome their intolerance by drinking kefir daily. It is the fermentation that makes kefir so nutritious. Kefir has many more "friendly" bacteria than yogurt.
