No-Cook Coconut Cream Applesauce

Use crisp apples for this, such as organic gala or pink lady.

Serves 2

  • 2 organic apples
  • 1 tablespoon or more coconut cream concentrate, warmed slightly if necessary
  • 1 dash pumpkin pie spice (or to taste)
  • few drops lemon juice (optional)

Coarsely grate the apples (you don't have to peel them if they are organic). Mix in coconut cream concentrate until well blended.

Sprinkle with spice. Add lemon juice if desired.

It is good! It's tart, sweet and creamy, I loved it and so did my Mom! :) Let me know what you think if you try it.

This is delicious. Hadn't thought about using the concentrate in this way but it reminds me of pie without the crust : )

Very good. I doubled the recipe, put everything in the blender, and it tasted excellent. Thanks for the recipe.

This is the BEST raw applesauce! I love it because it is a whole RAW food...my family gobbled it up. Perfect side with any meal. I used macintosh apples.
