yum yum! could I use honey for the syrup?

Yes, you can! If you're using the Tropical Traditions' honey just melt it down to a liquid.

Is this to be eaten as a cold breakfast cereal?

Granola can be used in many different ways, but yes, it is a type of cereal. You can also use it as a ice cream or yogurt topping, an addition to baked goods, etc.

I made some soaked and ready oats (coming soon to my blog in a post about those!) and wanted to use them to make granola. I think this photo looks sooo good! I'll be making it just as soon as I can get some almonds and coconut. :)

lovely recipe. and I love the idea that it could be for a breakfast cold cereal. yum!
