You can cut them anytime; while cooling or when cold.

These are delicious, but crumbly. Would substituting brown rice syrup for the honey, make them hold together better?

I made these yesterday, and they were fantastic. HOWEVER, I lowered the temp to 400 and cooked 12 minutes, and I'm glad I did. They were crunchy-dark on the edges, and they would have burnt at 450.

I'm even planning to lower the temp to 350 and add a couple more minutes next time. (My oven temp is accurate, and I baked on the low rack.)

I modified these quite a bit, only b/c I don't eat nuts.
I used a combo of organic honey, maple syrup, butter, coconut oil and unsweetened apple sauce. Additionally, I added ground flax meal, cacoa nibs, 2 small shredded carrots, & vivani organic dark chocolate bar broken into pieces. I didn't add to much of the sweetners, so they came out delicious! Thank you for sharing recipe..:)
