Nope, none. It's a very dense bread. However, if you want you can add 1/2 teaspoon or so of baking soda/powder.

Oh, my goodness! This looks like something my daughter will LOVE, and I won't have to substitute ANYTHING because of allergies! Thank you!

I meant to ask, is it correct that you use 5 tsp. of cinnamon? It seems like a lot. Just making sure it's not a typo.

Nope. Not a typo.

Yum! Think I could throw in some fresh blueberries without ruining anything?

Is there any particular order to mixing the ingredients? Wet things first, etc.?
# Posted By Scott | 9/15/11 7:00 AM
Scott: Not really. You can measure out all the dry stuff first then add the wet but it won't really matter.

Can I use egg substitute in your recipes?

Just made this for the second time. Made 1/2 batch with only 1 TBS honey. Added Cayenne for a kick and fresh blackberries. AWESOME! Great recipe and taste!

Could you make this in one loaf pan and add like a tsp baking powder or soda and just cook a little longer?...I'm not a great baker so just experimenting and learning.

Could I use regular flour instead of coconut flour?

I added pecans to the batter. They were Fabulous! Thanks so much for the recipe!

YUMMY! I changed it up a bit....I split the honey and maple syrup to get a little sweet from both. I added 1/2 tsp of baking powder, 1/3 c. of white flour along with the coconut flour, I used only 6 eggs and a little less cinnamon. I also threw in a handful of cranberries. Just great stuff!
