RecipesBanana Coconut Ice Cream
Place all ingredients in a VERY STRONG blender and blend starting a low speed, working up to the highest speed until all is mixed and is the consistency of ice cream. If needed, add a couple ice cubes to thicken and chill. This makes a generous serving for two. Recipe submitted by Tammy, Cape Girardeau, MO
I usually eat this as soon as I make it, but I have also frozen it for later use. It's like eating an ice cream bar. YUMMY!!!!!

YUMMY! I made this with the raisins and did include the cocoa. Delicious! Thanks for sharing!

I was just wondering if you add just plain cocoa, or sweetened cocoa to the ice cream. Won't the plain cocoa make it bitter, or do the bananas provide the sweetness? Just curious!

For health reasons, we use only organic cocoa powder. It is also known as cocao or chocolate powder. It does not make the ice cream bitter. The bananas and the dried fruit make this a sweet treat.
