RecipesCoconut Granola II
Servings: 12
Preheat oven to 250. In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, and shredded coconut. In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, oil and salt. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 3 sheet pans. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes for even coloring. Remove from oven and add raisins if desired. Recipe submitted by Chanelle, Beaumont, CA

Yes, you can! If you're using the Tropical Traditions' honey just melt it down to a liquid.

Granola can be used in many different ways, but yes, it is a type of cereal. You can also use it as a ice cream or yogurt topping, an addition to baked goods, etc.

I made some soaked and ready oats (coming soon to my blog in a post about those!) and wanted to use them to make granola. I think this photo looks sooo good! I'll be making it just as soon as I can get some almonds and coconut. :)
