This smoothie is perfect for a nutritious breakfast on the go. The additional high quality protein from the raw eggs or goat's milk powder keeps you going strong till lunch! Servings: 2
Add kefir, eggs or protein powder, honey and coconut oil, blend to mix before adding frozen ingredients. Add frozen fruit and vanilla, blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Recipe submitted by Lydia, Salem, VA

Kerrie, kefir is a fermented milk drink, sort of like yogurt, only with even more probiotics and health benefits. :) It is tangy and delicious, the best kind is homemade, super easy to do, just search "kefir grains" on ebay for starter. We use it almost daily in our morning smoothies and have noticed huge health benefits from it (energy, general well-being, digestive, etc), not to mention we love the added flavor punch to our smoothies. :)

Looks delicious! I think I might use a mix of milk and kefir though if I make it.
