We are currently accepting coconut recipes that use coconut in some shape or form, including: coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut cream concentrate, dried coconut, etc. We are also accepting pictures of recipes that already are listed on this site. Recipes using our grass-fed meats, from www.grassfedtraditions.com are also welcome. Submissions can include baked goods, sauces, main dishes, side dishes, etc. These MUST be recipes that you have already tested and know work! If Tropical Traditions publishes your recipe in their
Coconut Recipe blog, you will receive a $25.00 gift certificate that you can use to purchase any of our products. These gift certificates have no expiration dates, so you can use them whenever you wish. If you submit a photo that we use, you can receive a second $25.00 gift certificate! If you follow the guidelines below, your recipe will have a better chance of being accepted.
1.The only sweeteners (if used) we currently accept are: organic whole sugar, honey, maple syrup, and brown rice syrup.
2. We are looking for recipes with as many coconut ingredients as appropriate: coconut flour, dried coconut, Coconut Cream Concentrate, coconut oil.
4. Acceptable oils (if used) are: coconut oil, palm oil, sesame oil, olive oil, and butter.
5. For recipes using coconut flour: while we are looking for recipes using coconut flour exclusively, we are also looking for recipes where coconut flour is mixed with other flours.
6. No soy please (organic fermented soy sauce is OK).
Note: Recipes are accepted at the sole discretion of Tropical Traditions. Recipes may need to be edited before publishing. Accepted recipes are compensated with a $25.00 gift certificate (minimum $16.00 purchase required) for the recipe and another $25.00 gift certificate for a photo if one is submitted. Complete names of authors of recipes are not published (first name and city only.) If a complete name (first and last) is desired to be published in lieu of free product, the recipe listing on our website with full name without charge for advertising is considered compensation for the recipe.
Submit photos that you have taken, and where you own the copyrights to the photo. Use of other photos owned by someone who has not given permission to have them published is prohibited, and subject to copyright laws.
